Swindon
The larger Wiltshire town: railway, logistics, offices, and a centre that was rebuilt around them.
Recording the page view…
Swindon is a unitary authority inside ceremonial Wiltshire. The railway works made the town, and distribution, offices and national employers still sit on that footprint. A domestic tradesperson, a salon and a national company's regional office can all have a Swindon address. Only the description says which you are looking at.
The centre, the railway village and the out-of-town estates are separate. Salisbury is not the other half of the same high street. This launch does not list Chippenham or Marlborough. A business there should not be disguised as Swindon.
Practical notes
- Ask whether a national office takes local one-off work. Often it does not.
- Name the estate or the district. The town is large enough to matter.
- Salisbury is a different page and a different market.

None yet. Empty category pages are not linked from here, so this town does not grow a grid of thin URLs. A category address still resolves if you open it, and it stays out of the index until a listing exists.
