Bath
A small UNESCO city in Bath and North East Somerset, listed under Somerset because that is where people look.
Recording the page view…
Bath is a unitary authority with its own council. It is also, ceremonially, in Somerset, and this directory files it there on purpose. The city is compact, hilly, and built of streets where a van, a guest house and a solicitor's office are all plausible neighbours. Visitors are a large part of the restaurant and hotel trade. They are not the client of every practice in town.
The World Heritage designation does not tell you whether a builder can work on a listed building, or whether they want to. Ask. The same goes for parking, access and a hotel's cancellation terms. None of that is inferred from a listing, and the sample hotels on this page are fictional.
Practical notes
- Listed buildings and ordinary houses are different jobs. Say which you have.
- The centre is walkable and awkward for unloading. Mention access.
- Bath is not Bristol. The cities are close and the listings are not interchangeable.
Categories with listings
None yet. Empty category pages are not linked from here, so this town does not grow a grid of thin URLs. A category address still resolves if you open it, and it stays out of the index until a listing exists.
