Cheltenham is a town of terraces, a long Promenade, and a calendar that includes racing and festivals. Hotels and restaurants feel that calendar. Accountants, clinics and shops also serve a resident population that is there in the quiet weeks. A listing should be readable in February.
Gloucester is a few miles away and has its own page. The pleasant habit of treating them as one place produces bad call-outs and bad table bookings. The Cotswold villages to the east are not pages here. Ask a Cheltenham firm whether a village is inside their round.
